The purpose of our Family Area is to help parents feel part of nursery.  It is a place where they can sit quietly with their child and share a book or choose a book to take and read at home with their child.  They can sit with their child’s keyworker and talk about their child’s progress or any concerns or support they might need.  It is a place where they can come early for their child after a hard day’s work and just sit and rest for a while.

In the quieter times of the day staff will come and do baking activities with the children in this area.
